K.B Vasanthakumar who is a well-knowned poet and a famous lyricist who has entered into the field in his sixteenth year. He published his first book 'Swargaputhri' received so many appreciations even from very renowned personalities at that time. The same book has been noted in a book by Prof. Leelavathy, which was a referance to him at the time he was studying for MA. He wrote so many Devotional,festival and Album Songs as many as 76 cassets/CDs today... All the renowned singers including Padmasree K.J Yesudas, P Jayachandran, M.G Sreekumar, G.Venugopal.etc have been performed his Lyrics.. He is Now residing At Thrikkaruva , a beautiful village by the side of Ashtamudi Lake in Kollam District.
