K-15 is a Kansas State Highway originating at the Oklahoma State Line and continuing to the Nebraska state line where it is then signed as Nebraska Highway 15. It is signed as State Highway 18 once the highway enters Oklahoma.

At the Oklahoma state line, K-15 runs north for 8 miles then turns west for 4 miles and duplexes with US 166. It then returns north for 9 miles to Dexter then west 3 miles where it again duplexes, now with US 160.

At Winfield K-15 follows US 77 north then cuts north and west through Derby finally joining I-135 and US 81 in Wichita. K-15 is a mulitlane, divided highway north and west of Derby to the I-135 junction.

K-15 follows the I-135 alginment to North Newton where it exits and continues north to US 56 in Marion County. It meets K-15 at Goessel. It duplexes with US 56 east for 6 miles then continues north to Abilene, crosses I-70, and continues north to K-18.

K-15 duplexes with K-18 east another 4 miles then returns north and crosses US 24 at Clay Center. K-9 joins K-15 for 12 miles routing north then departs.

K-15 duplexes with US 36 west for 6 miles before returning north to the Nebraska border where the 15 designation is kept.

K-15 is signed as the Eisenhower Memorial Highway throughout Kansas due to its route through Abilene where the Eisenhower Memorial Museum and Library is located.
