Károly Palotai

Károly Palotai (born September 11, 1935) is a retired Hungarian football referee. He is mostly known for having refereed five matches in the FIFA World Cup. One in 1974, two in 1978 and one in 1982. He officiated two finals in the European Cup: in 1976 and 1983. He also refereed the UEFA Cup final in 1980.
