Jyosei Shonan

Jyosei Shounan (城成湘南中学校?) is a rival tennis team from the anime and manga series Prince of Tennis. Though mentioned in the manga, it appears only in the anime, where it replaces Midoriyama as Seigaku's opponents in the second round of the Kantou Tournament.

Their coach is Aoi Hanamura, a beautiful young woman who refers to her students as masterpieces and constantly tries to recruit new students, especially Ryoma. She's often proud of her own prowess and of her pupils' to the point of fangirlism, but she is otherwise very cool and professional.
In the manga, the school is beaten by Midoriyama in the first round of the Kantou Tournament. However, in the anime, it is the other way around, and they go on to play Seigaku in the second round.

[edit] Takahisa Kajimoto
Captain. Singles 1. His flexibility is used in his serve, the L-doru Serve, where he bends his entire body back and releases it like a catapult. This serve has been seen in the anime to go 197 km/h.

Singles 2. He abandoned his old play style Deep Impulse where all shots are aimed at the opponent, for a new play style that Hanamura taught him, Mirage. He's usually depicted as very devoted and almost protective of Hanamura, who refers to him as her "ultimate masterpiece".

Vice Captain and singles 3. He can copy any famous professional tennis player's playing style using his Change Over technique. He even copies the smallest habits of these famous players when he changes over. Very popular with the ladies, he has his own fanclub within the Jyousei school.

Doubles 2 with Youhei Tanaka, his twin older brother. He's often mistaken for a girl due to his long black-blue hair. This second-year student possesses very good eyesight which together with his brother's good hearing allows them to predict their opponents moves.

Doubles 2 with his younger twin Kouhei Tanaka. Like Kouhei, he's often mistaken for a girl due to his short-ish dark pink hair. Has very good hearing which, together with his brother's good eyesight, allows them to predict their opponents moves.

Doubles 1 with Shou Oota. His large body and his partner's small body form the Thunderbolt, where Shou jumps off Daichi's shoulders and returns high shots. He uses the Cannon Volley as a weapon.
