Thanks for expanding the article. Could you please add what exactly it is what he presented for the BBC? - Mgm|(talk) 13:55, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 3rr on quizzing.co.uk
I've blocked you [1] for WP:3RR on the afore-mentioned article. Please discuss this here, if you wish to William M. Connolley 20:14, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- You have blocked me under the 3RR. I dispute it because I was correcting simple vandalism. The user 195.93.21.33 was turning the page into an advert, by seemingly pasting an utterly own POV version to the page. Please look at my contributions, I stand by them all. Jw6aa 20:21, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- Look at the article now. [2] it's a blatant POV violation and is an advert. Legitimate sections have been removed without justification on talk. Jw6aa 20:23, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- Hmm, I admit that this [3] appears to be a perfectly valid removal of gumpf. I'll have a closer look. Some advice: people asserting that they are remving vandalism, when all they are doing is having a content war, is very common. Please make sure that extensive reverts are clearly backed up on the talk page. William M. Connolley 20:41, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

- I contend that it is vandalism in question in most of the examples you cite, as it is a reversion of a seemingly pasted POV version of the article. On the other occasion I have tried to fix the final article with a legitimate edit that was made to the POV version. I don't just believe I am right, 195.93.21.33 is removing content without justification or discussion on the talk page. This is vandalism. Jw6aa 21:06, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 86.130.214.85/Quizzing.co.uk
I still get the impression that this is a content dispute, rather than vandalism. Whilst you are clearly doing the right thing by trying to direct the IP to the talk page (and I've tried to do the same on their talk page), you should still be careful not to cross the WP:3RR rule (if they cross the line they can be reported to WP:AN3. That exists to stop pointless continual reverting of an article, even if you are 'right'. If I have time I will try and do some NPOV work on that article... Petros471 20:49, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
Could you quickly confirm for me that you're not a business rival of Quizzing.co.uk? The anon keeps claiming this, and I'm not inclined to dig through the talk page to find out whether you have admitted that you are or whether this is just another personal attack. --Sam Blanning(talk) 10:46, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- I run a web site (123Quiz.net) that they consider to be a rival. They also consider Davidbod (who created the article) to run a rival web site (ukgameshows.com). My feeling is that this is because they don't want anyone else editing the article. Left alone it becomes a pro-Quizzing Ltd advert. My aim is to keep it neutral. I continually ask what edits I have made are not neutral and consider their problem to be with me personally rather than my editing. Jw6aa 11:06, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

A number of Wikipedians have come together and formed the WikiProject Throughbred racing to help to expand and better organise information in articles and categories related to the sport of thoroughbred racing. As a past contributor to horse racing articles, we invite you to consider becoming a participant in the project, and/or adding the page to your watchlist so that you become aware, and can join any future horse racing discussions, which may be of interest to you.
