Seems to me this page should be merged with that of Lord President of the Court of Session, or a redirection from that page. It would also be worth looking at the situation where we have a different page for Justiciar of the Lothians. Maybe these should be merged. David Lauder 20:25, 25 December 2006 (UTC).

We should also have a Justiciar of Galloway page. Merging the three Justiciarships into an article on Legal institutions of Scotland in the Middle Ages, starting by renaming the existing Legal institutions of Scotland in the High Middle Ages, might be better. I confess I've never come across a Justiciar of Galloway, only north and south of The Forth. But something needs to be done. Alas I don't have administrative knowledge. David Lauder 10:01, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

I see no reason why anything should be done in regard to the separate existence of Justiciar of Scotland, Lothian and Galloway ... we may as well merge Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Prime Minister of Australia and other such offices into Political offices of the modern English world.
