No Guru has tagged this article for speedy deletion, wondering what the notable quality is of Just van Rossum. I am the creator of this article, so I'll give you my thoughts here:

  1. Just van Rossum is referred to in the Guido van Rossum article. He's Guido's brother. He was redlinked, so I clicked through and created this article.
  2. Just van Rossum is the author of the IDE for MacPython, which is included in the standard distribution of the Python language for the Mac platform.
  3. Just van Rossum is the creator of the font and logo for Python Powered — the click-thru logo you see on some Python powered websites.

Personally, I think this makes the man notable and justifies an entry here. I recognize that this is a short article (the extent of my knowledge) and there may well be more to research and present about Just van Rossum. Thus, I tagged the article as a stub.
