Jusuf Zejnullahu
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jusuf Zejnullahu was a Kosovo Albanian politician.
In December 1989 Zejnullahu was elected Prime Minister (Chairman of the Executive Council) of the Socialist Autonomous Province of Kosovo, then part of Yugoslavia. He kept his post until May 1990, when he, the vice-chairman, and five other ethnic Albanian cabinet ministers resigned in protest at Serbian pressure, and the Kosovo Communist Party's handling of the separatist unrest. Zejnullahu was later involved in the unconstitutional declaration of secession of July 2 1990, and was then designated Prime Minister of the first parallel Kosovo state bodies.
