Justine Littlewood

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Justine Littlewood is a character in the Jacqueline Wilson novel and television series, The Story of Tracy Beaker. She lives at a fictional care home, (named The Dumping Ground). Justine has a bad relationship with the novel's main character, Tracy Beaker since they met because Beaker accidentally broke Littlewood's clock. Their relationship was, and still is, one of loathing and of grudging respect for each other. Louise Guvan (Played by Chelsie Padley in the TV series) often acted as the peacemaker between the two girls. When Louise left, Justine and Tracy often kept a distance from one another.

[edit] Character background

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

For two years, Justine settled down into family life once more, with her dad, stepmother, and new baby brother. She kept in touch with Louise, and forgot all about the Dumping Ground kids, especially Tracy, apart from being unwittingly involved in Elaine's attempt to get some publicity for herself.

That all changed with the unexpected arrival of her cousin, John. She took exception to her room being given to him, and went back to the Dumping Ground, where she made her second enemy, Rebecca Chalmers. They tried to outwit one another, but Justine won out in the end, and a shaky truce was eventually established when the two of them were forced to look after a toddler named Charlie. Whilst Tracy was making preparations to begin her life as Cam's adopted daughter, Justine decided that she was going to try and give weekend visits to her home a go.
