Justin Andrew Thaler aka Edward Coogan (born 1976 in Orlando, Florida) is the son of a Navy veteran father and a U.S. Government mother. A film and television director for the past 10 years he has worked with an array of talent both in front and behind the camera. He was the origianl bass player for the Chicago electronic band Sundoze, singer of the South Carolina hardcore band Turmoil, and currently involved in the musical project known as The Minus Ratio.

He has directed music videos for Liquid Soul, First Class, and The Vermeer Quartet. He has worked with Kid Rock, The Creature Comforts, John Hughes, Marty Casey and The Lovehammers.
