Justin Ross was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2002 to represent District 22, which covers Prince George's County.

Ross attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School and later the University of Maryland, College Park where he earned his B.A. in government and politics in 1998.

Since graduating from college, Ross has been a real estate broker.
In 2007, he co-sponsored a controversial bill with State Senator Gwendolyn Britt to the State Senate that would allow convicted released felons the right to vote. [1]
