Justin Marler

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Justin Marler replaced Tom Choi as one of the guitarists in the seminal stoner metal band Sleep. After their first album, Volume One, he left the band to become an Orthodox Christian monk. He stayed at the monastery for 7 years, and then left, forming a new band: The Sabians, for which he reunited with his long-time friend and former band-mate Chris Hakius, also from Sleep. The band broke up, due to Marler moving to another residence. He is starting a new project called Black Veil Choir. From his own words it sounds like "Pink Floyd for the 21st century"
