Justin Maelzer is a British writer and musician, born 19 March 1974 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Attained a BSc in Marine and Freshwater Biology from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London in 1995. Was shortlisted in the Undiscovered Authors competition in 2005. Currently lives in Bath.

Appeared as a background artist in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

Played in sixth-form band 'The Wet Bandits' with Ben Cullum.
