Just Jeans is an Australian apparel chain store, owned and operated by the Just Group (ASX: JST).
The Just Group owns and operates Portmans, Jaquie E, Jay Jays, Just Jeans, Peter Alexander and Dotti store brands.
Just Jeans' first store opened in Victoria and was owned by the Kimberly's.

The Just Group is one of the leading specialty apparel retailers in Australia and New Zealand.[citation needed] Its first store opened in Chapel Street, Prahran in December 1970. The Just Jeans Group employs over 4,000 people. Its brands cover casual clothing through Just Jeans, women's fashion via Jacqui E & Portmans and the youth market through Jay Jay's. The concept of Just Jeans, selling jeans stacked on shelves, proved to be a success with the youth revolution of the 1970s; new stores were opened in other locations around Melbourne and the growth continued throughout the 1970s and 1980s across Australia through both new store openings and the acquisition of other jeanswear and clothing chains.[citation needed]
Just Jeans has over 500 stores in every state and territory of Australia as well as New Zealand.

To maintain this position, Just Jeans Product and Marketing teams continually keep up to date with emerging local and overseas trends that reflect the lifestyle of the core customer base. Although Just Jeans products are aimed at a broad section of the community, the primary target is people who lead energetic and active lifestyles.[citation needed]
Just Jeans is an aggressive advertiser and one of the largest retail television advertisers in Australia and New Zealand.[citation needed]
