Talk:Juravenator
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The taxon box says it's a coelurid, but the text says it's a close relative of Sinosauropteryx, a compsognathid. Well, which is it?
- Most other entries use Compsognathinae, as a subfamily of Coeluridae. Some scientists place compsognathines in their own family, Compsognathidae. Juravenator, according to the artciles I've read, is a compsognathine (compsognathidif used as a seperate family). The actual paper describing it won't come out until next week, so this might change.Dinoguy2 02:00, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
