Jurong Point(Chinese: 裕郎方) is located in the west of Singapore. Jurong Point went through lots of changes after the mall up-sized by 60% when 250,000 sq. ft of land was added to Jurong Point in 1998. Jurong Point was officially re-launched on 2 December 2000 by Mr Wee Kim Wee, former President of the Republic of Singapore.

By 2008, Jurong Point will be Singapore Biggest suburban mall.
With 285,000 sq.ft added to original 408,000 sq.ft.
The estimated Nett Floor Area will have a 700,00sq.ft
making it Singapore Biggest Suburban mall.


Due to the extension of Jurong Point and also upcoming Condominium The Centris; behind Jurong Point,
the Bus Interchange behind Jurong Point have been moved to a temporary site beside Boon Lay MRT Station.

After the extension, Jurong Point will have a total of 700,000 sq.ft.
There will be the extension of the Singapore MRT Line,
Boon Lay MRT Station was actually the Terminus for the west of East-West Line
They will have an extension of 2 stations Pioneer and Joon Koon.
This two stations will be above ground and will be completed by 2009.

Pioneer MRT Station was for people who live beyond the end of Boon Lay MRT Station
Pioneer MRT Station was for workers, after extension, workers who work there
need not change buses at Boon Lay MRT Station as Boon Lay Interchange
will be very busy during work hours.

There is a propose there will be LRT beside theBoon Lay MRT Station
The propose for this LRT was for those people who live very far beyond Boon Lay MRT Station
to get moving easier. The LRT line was named Jurong Regional Line.
