[edit] Paul Witt

High school teachers are normally not notable enough for an article, for the main reason that there is very little than can verifiably said about them without original research. --SPUI (talk - don't use sorted stub templates!) 06:51, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

I have placed a tag on the article Paul Witt, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I did this because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Paul Witt is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Paul Witt. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. -- No Guru 03:43, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

If you continue creating nonsense articles, you will be blocked from editing. User:Zoe|(talk) 04:05, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

  • I'm sorry about the aggressive admins, you did actually explain why he was at least a little bit notable, because he won an award. Kappa 04:11, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
  • On the other hand, it's not very helpful for you to recreate this page all over the place. Kappa 04:16, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RE: Notability

Good question Junejo. See Notability (people) for information about notability and articles on Wikipedia. Let me know if you have any more questions. No Guru 03:50, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

I REALLY BELIEVE PAUL WITT SHOULD HAVE A WIKIPEDIA PAGE. HE WON A VERY IMPORTANT AWARD.

So we have an article on every state's best math teacher, and every state's best science teacher, and every state's best history teacher, and every Canadian province's best teacher in each category, and every German state's best teacher in each category, and every Russian province's teacher in each category, and every county's teacher in each category, ad nauseum? And multiply that times every year, since there will be a different one each year. User:Zoe|(talk) 04:29, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

Not everyone will think of making a page and this teacher is very different. i think if we have a page Shorewood High school, then we could have a page of one of the best, if not THE best teacher in the school. this teacher is different. he deserves a page. you guys really need to understand

Do you think sending me nasty emails will suddenly make me change my mind and unblock you? User:Zoe|(talk) 22:05, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
