Junik (Cyrillic: Јуник) is a small town in the Gjakova District, Kosovo. It is populated mainly with ethnic Albanians. Junik is hometown to many widely known people including weavyweight European boxing champion Luan Krasniqi, artist and writer Rexhep Goci, and poet Din Mehmeti to name a few.
