Buzz! Junior: Jungle Party is the first Buzz! Junior game released on PlayStation 2.

Buzz! Junior is compromised of forty different minigames. Many of these minigames do not require knowledge or skill, so they are more suited to smaller children than the normal Buzz! quiz games, although they can also be enjoyed by older children or even adults.

The game was released on October 26, 2006.

[edit] Gameplay

You play as a blue, orange, green or yellow monkey (the game supports 1-4 players). The voiceover introduces the games, how to play the games and score results (much like Rose in the quiz version). Most games are played with the Buzz! button, some are played using the coloured buttons. The instructions are easy to understand, and the voiceover commentates the games.

Simian Shootout

A wild-west themed minigame, Simian Shootout requires you to press the Buzz! button as fast as you can to shoot your opponent, but only when the gorilla says! Simple but fun.

Hippo Splash

Remember the colours of the hippos and press the coloured buttons in order!

Jungle Hurdles

The monkey players dash along 4 lanes with 4 different coloured hurdles randomly set up. The players have to hit the corresponding button to allow their monkey to jump over the hurdle.

Monkey Bomb

A player at random is given a bomb - the longer they hold it, the more points they rack up until they press a coloured button to pass to another player until the bomb explodes. If it explodes while someone is holding it, they lose points.

High Voltage Voting

The monkeys are in the cockpit of a crashed aircraft, sitting in the seats of the flight crew. Each seat has a light on the back of it. When your light comes on, press the buzzer. If you get it on time, you get to choose which of your opponents gets zapped with an electric shock, making them lose a life.
