From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jumeirah Beach Hotel is a 5-star hotel and the largest employer in all of Dubai.[citation needed] They employ over 30,000 people. Although through British standards it is a 5 star, it is considered to be the only six star hotel in Dubai.
The Hotel is renown worldwide and ont the back of many Dubai postcards, most people would recognise it when described as "The Wave shaped hotel".
Dubai has lavish standards and considers Jumeirah Beach Hotel or "The JBH" as it is often referred to as, to be the 2nd best hotel behind the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. The Burj is considered to be the only "Seven star" hotel in the entire world and attracts the rich and famous.
Jumierah Beach Hotel is also very impressive and in the past years has attracted the entire Liverpool Football Club team as well as Hollywood stars, Ben Stiller and also Jessica Alba.
The Hotel boasts numerous restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs as well as a very impressive gymnasium. It also has several large swimming pools on site and most impressivly owns the "Wild Wadi" water park which is one of Dubai's main attractions and also open to the public.
The Wild Wadi water park is literally also on site and is renown for some of its slide. It remains the only water park in the entire world in which you can go up a flume without using the stairs through hydraulic powers. You can actually stay inside a ring and continuously go from ground level to 100 feet up in the air before plummeting down the impressive flumes.
