It is felt that the article you created at Julia Nagle is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable. I have moved it to User:Julia7x, which is where users are free to write about themselves. You are at liberty to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion.

Note, however, that the purpose of a user page is to enable active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so your user page is not a personal homepage. Content unrelated to Wikipedia or its editing is likely to be removed.

Please see the user page guidelines, especially this section for more information. -- Fan-1967 15:15, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Protection

I'm a bit wary about unprotecting a page that's been deleted 40 times. I suggest that you put the text on my talk page, and if I am convinced that it is a serious article about a person notable enough for an encyclopedia article, I'll lift the protection. jimfbleak 15:59, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Invisiblegirl

Julia Adamson formerly known as Julia Nagle was born 30th September 1960 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. In 1967 her family moved to Manchester, England. She composed her first piece of music in 1977 and has worked with many groups including What Noise, The Fall and Elastica.

She played synthesizer in The Fall from 1995-2001 and contributed to albums The Light User Syndrome, Levitate, The Marshall Suite and The Unutterable composing on computer, playing guitar, adding backing vocals and writing some lyrics. 1998 saw a split in the group mainly due to a large VAT bill being issued, (incurred before Julia joined the group). She helped to reform the group with new musicians after the split. Julia now works under the pseudonym Invisiblegirl.

Hi Julia, thanks for the message - I've lifted the protection and recreated the article at Julia Nagle. It needs to go there because that's the name you are notable as. Thanks, jimfbleak 05:55, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi Julia, you don't need anyones's permission to edit, the problem was only because the article originally didn't make it clear why the subject was notable. i would suggest however that you keep the article's title as Julia Nagle since that's the name under which you are best known and the one people will search for. Also, looking at the "what links here", all the relevant articles point to the article name as it stands.

Bear in mind that no wikipedia articles are anyone's property. Anyone can edit any page as long as what they put is verifiable and non-copyright. Why not add a picture to the article?
