The schnauzbart in the style of Adolf Hitler was at that time a usual "mode feature". Who identified itself with the ideas of Hitler, carried the "Adolf beard". The same feature gave it during the German Kaiser era, when the German men carried the "emperor William beard" predominantly. Altogether: An interesting time feature!
