Julie Peasgood

Julie May Peasgood is a British actress, (born 28 May 1956 in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire). She is best known for her role as Fran Pearson in the television soap opera Brookside.

She later played Jo Steadman on the soap opera Emmerdale.

Other credits include Survivors.

She is the mother of the actress Kate McEnery by her marriage to Peter McEnery. She was sister-in-law to John McEnery during this marriage.

She is currently writing 'The Greatest Sex Tips in the World', which is due for launch at the London Book Fair on 16th April 2007, published by Public Eye Publications.[citation needed]

Peasgood is one of the growing number of celebrities to have holidays homes in Port Isaac, Cornwall.
