Julian Smith (September 11, 1885 – November 5, 1975) was a general in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was born in Maryland and graduated from the University of Delaware. He also attended the Army Command and General Staff School.
He commanded the 2nd Marine Division at the Battle of Tarawa.
From February 1946 until his retirement, he commanded the Parris Island training camp. He was placed on the retired list December 1, 1946.
After his death, he was buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
