Julian Bennett is a football player who was born in Nottingham on the 17th December 1984. He is 6 ft 1" and weighs 13.2 stone. He is a commanding left back currently playing for Nottingham Forest.
Bennett, who is a Nottingham Forest fan, joined Forest as a youth but was released when he was 15 years old.
He joined Walsall soon after and eventually became a first team player. He made 40+ appearances for them before he got the chance to return to Nottingham Forest in a deal that will keep him at the club for 5 years.
Colin Calderwood didn't play him regulally earlier in the 06-07 season, but he has since put on some commanding displays and established himself as the choice left-back.
In the FA Cup 4th Round match versus Chelsea, Bennett's rather crude tackle on Andriy Shevchenko left the Ukrainian on the floor in apparent agony. His manager, Jose Mourinho simply laughed, and later joked the the left back would 'kill him'
