Julia Neigel (born April 19, 1966 in Barnaul, Siberia, (Ex-USSR), Russia) is a German singer/songwriter and producer. Her family moved back to Germany in 1971. She lives in Ludwigshafen am Rhein in Rheinland-Pfalz.

She began singing at 14 and her first album was released when she was 22. Her style is pop with soul and R'N'B influences.

Her first concert was in 1982. In 1986 she joined The Stealers and founded her own band, Jule Neigel & Band (her nickname was "Jule" until 2005). Her first hit, "Schatten an der Wand" was in 1987 (#12 in Germany). The record sold about 200,000 copies and was producted by Ralf Zang. She has been working as a songwriter, singer, and producer since 1987 and has won many awards. She has worked with Simon Phillips, Paco de Lucia and Helmut Zerlett, andPeter Maffay. She is also a popular live artist. Due to legal difficulties, she didn't work in the music business from 1998 untiil 2005. In 2006 she re-started her career and released the live record, "Stimme mit Flügeln."

She has resumed the use her birth name, Julia Neigel.
