Image talk:Jukt Micronics fake web page.jpg

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I just watched the Shattered Glass movie, and now I wonder:

Does this image represent (1) the homepage created by the real Glass, (2) the homepage shown in the movie, (3) both, because they are the same, or (4) neither?

I have checked the source, which is a homepage mostly in Danish (which I read being a Dane). It seems to claim that it is (1) (or perhaps (3)), but I'm not sure this homepage is a reliable source.

Any comments?--Niels Ø 21:49, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

I don't know of any reason why this image can't be the real page. They never showed the page in full in the film and this is obviously a screen capture from a computer. I would think that the movie would try to duplicate the original page for accuracy though.--Skeev 21:53, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
You are right, and I found a better source for the same image, probably the original source for this screen capture: http://www.forbes.com/1998/05/11/otw3b.html. So it appears to be the homepage that Penenberg from Forbes found when he investigated Glass' scam. I've changed the image page accordingly.--Niels Ø 07:57, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
