Judy May Chu, Ph.D. is an American politician and educator. She is member of the Democratic Party. She is the current Board member representing California Board of Equalization's 4th District.
She was previously the elected representative of the 49th district of the California State Assembly, forced out by term limits. The district includes Alhambra, El Monte, Monterey Park, Rosemead, San Gabriel, San Marino, and South El Monte, within Los Angeles County.
Her husband, Mike Eng was a member of the city council for Monterey Park and is the current the 49th district assemblymember, having taken over from Judy.
