Judicial District of Ayacucho

The Judicial District of Ayacucho is one of the 28 Judicial Districts of the Judicial System of Peru.
It's headquarters is in the city of Ayacucho and its juristiction extends over the entire Ayacucho Region with the exception of the Cangallo, Lucanas, Parinacochas, and Paucar del Sara Sara provinces which are under the juristiction of the Judicial District of Ica. It also has juristiction over the Churcampa Province of the Huancavelica Region.
It was created by the Law Nº 8569 and was established March 21, 1844 under the presidency of Ramón Castilla.
