Judicael Berengar was Count of Rennes, son and successor to Berengar of Rennes. Berengar brought Capetian influences to Brittany, which secured the place of Judicael's son by Gerberge, Conan I of Rennes who became Duke of Brittany. His brother-in-law was William I of Normandy.
