Juba nour

Juba Nour Sensei, Director and Chief Instructor of Aikido of Manhattan, studied the art as an Uchi-deshi of Master Kazuo Chiba, 8th Dan, in 1983. After four years of apprenticeship with Master K. Chiba, Juba Sensei apprenticed in Tokyo, Japan under the guidance of late Master Kisshomaru Ueshiba.

Juba Sensei currently holds the rank of Shihan and he has been teaching Aikido for more than 20 years. His first school was established in New Haven, Connecticut (Connecticut Aikikai), now run by Mike Sidebottom Sensei, 4th Dan. Juba Sensei has also taught in Europe and in various seminars. Juba Sensei established the Aikido of Manhattan in 1995.
