[edit] Order of the Governor

Under the section on Moreira's death, it says that:

In April, 1874, Casimiro Villamayor, the counsellor of Lobos through order of Mariano Acosta, governor of the Province of Buenos Aires sent 25 men led by Commander Bosch from the police department in Buenos Aires.

I can't tell if the governor ordered the 25 men sent, or if he only ordered the appointment of Casimir Villamayor, who sent them himself independently. I'll look to see if the Spanish version of this page tells this fact more clearly, but if not, I'd appreciate some help from someone who knows the story, since I don't. --Cromwellt | Talk 19:20, 2 October 2005 (UTC)

I looked up the Spanish Wikipedia page, but that didn't help, so I googled it and found the original source in the online newspaper from the city of Lobos in Argentina. I still couldn't figure it out exactly, so I asked a Mexican friend of mine to look at it, and she confirmed that it was the governor who ordered the men sent, which Villamayor did. I've done a ton of cleanup and reworking/rewording on this page, so I am going to boldy remove the cleanup tag. --Cromwellt | Talk 21:30, 2 October 2005 (UTC)

This article was written in haste (I'm the author) and it was freely provided by a digital news site from Lobos because the owner is my cousin. I will add more information on this article with more details. I'm looking for pictures and historical documents, but it has been really hard to get ahead with this. [edit] gutierrez

i think you are talking more about the literary figure that eduardo gutierrez created in his Juan Moreira novel than about the real Moreira. Maybe it would be wise to add a comment about the novel, which is not so historically accurate (very fun, though). Patafisica 20:36, 16 November 2006 (UTC)patafisica
