Juan Watterson

Juan Watterson BA(Hons) ACA MHK is the lead Member of the House of Keys for Rushen, in the Isle of Man, having polled the most votes (2,430) in this three member constituency. He is a political member of the Department of Local Government and the Environment (DoLGE) and the Department of Health and Social Security (DHSS), these roles are the Manx equivalent of a junior minister in the UK.
Juan lives in the village of Port St. Mary in the south of the Isle of Man.
Before being elected to The Keys Juan worked in the Isle of Man branch of the accountancy firm KPMG, having graduated from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside with a first class degree in Management.
He has been chairman of Junior Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Police Consultative Forum, as well as serving on the board of trustees of Manx Radio, a position he resigned from when he declared his intention to stand.
Watterson's first name is a traditional Manx boy's name, and unlike its Spanish counterpart is pronounced jew-an.

Watterson was elected on the broad strategy of bringing accountability to government and a more business-like focus to its financial affairs in the wake of several high profile incidents of financial mismanagement.
