Juan Padrón, born in 1947 is Cuba's Premier Animation Director. He was the creator of Elpidio Valdes, a character that has been featured in countless shorts and two feature length movies. But his international fame arrived with Vampires in Havana, an adult-oriented comedy feature that gathered a cult following abroad. Padrón has directed six animated feature films in total, along with many shorts specially those with Elpidio Valdes as the main characher. And the 1-minute comedy sketches for adults "Filminutos"
