Juan Pablo Rodríguez

Juan Pablo Rodríguez Guerrero (born August 7, 1979 in Zapopan, Jalisco) is a Mexican football (soccer) player, who currently plays for Santos Laguna of the Primera División de México. Was transferred from UAG Tecos to Chivas for the Apertura 2006 in the Mexican League and then to Santos at Clausura 2007. He has 36 caps for Mexico and has made 2 goals. He was part of 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup were Mexico won. He was also present in the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup were the Mexican team placed 4th in a penalty shoot-out against Germany.

His performance as player of the Mexican national football team and currently Chivas de Guadalajara has been criticized by the media, who think that he only performs well without pressure, rumors has stated that he would be transfered to Santos Laguna for Clausura 2007, and came true, but with the team struggling to remain in Primera Division, his performance in Santos has also been heavily critiziced by the media and fans alike because of his lack of attitude.
