Juan Carlos Cremata

Juan Carlos Cremata, born on november 18, 1961 is a Cuban Film Director. In 1991 he graduated from the International Film School of San Antonio de los Baños in Havana with his already classic: Oscuros Rinocerontes Enjaulados, a short film that went around the world gathering awards in several film festivals. La época, El encanto y Fin de siglo (2000) was his first documentary. In 2001 he directs his first feature: Nada+ This film shook the coldrums of the Cuban Film Industry for its innovative and refreshing mise en scene. Later he directs Viva Cuba (2005) which is his most internationally acclaimed film to date.
