[edit] Changing "African-American" to "Black"

Hi. Why are you changing "African-American" to "Black" at Rodney King? Jkelly 18:18, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Yes, please stop substituting the word "Black" for "African American". Also, stop removing the term "African American" from articles completely. This could easily be construed as you pushing your own point of view at the expense of the neutral point of view. — BrianSmithson 08:20, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] PLEASE ASSIST, WRESTLING FANS OF WIKIPEDIA

Me and the soon to be departing (hopefully not) Moe Epsilon are setting up a project to deal with the music of this great business. It will be Wikipedia:WikiProject Music of wrestling. Join if you are remotely interested - every little helps! Thanks. Kingfisherswift 17:09, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for experimenting with the page Kelly Rowland on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Zpb52 05:57, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Kelly Rowland. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. [edit] boan

Thanks for your careful edits to birth of a nation page. It continues to need context but is better than it was a few months ago. Skywriter 16:57, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Do not remove sources from the Trish Stratus entry

You deleted and changed the confirmed and sourced information posted about Trish Stratus getting married and leaving WWE. Please don't do this again, as it could be considered vandalism. --CJ 05:44, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Carl Carlton

Please note that in biographical articles, the place of birth should not appear in the intro per the Manual of Style (see WP:MOSBIO). It should actually appear in the body of the article. I reverted your change to the Carlton article, but I was unaware of the place of birth issue myself until a few months ago, so I thought I'd let you know. -Big Smooth 21:26, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tony Dungy

Just as an FYI, per WP:MOSBIO, I've reverted your edit to the Tony Dungy article which changed the introduction of his name from "Anthony Kevin 'Tony' Dungy" to "Tony Dungy (born Anthony Kevin Dungy . . .". As mentioned in the Manual of Style, stating it with that latter phrasing implies that the preson changed their name from their birth name. In Dungy's case, of course, he has not changed his name, but rather just uses "Tony" as a nickname for "Anthony". In such cases, stating it the former way is preferred.

Happy editing! Mwelch 22:32, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
