[edit] Welcome!
Hi JRodz15, and a warm welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have enjoyed editing as much as I did so far and decide to stay. Unfamiliar with the features and workings of Wikipedia? Don't fret! Be Bold! Here's some good links for your reference and that'll get you started in no time!
- Editing tutorial, learn to have fun with Wikipedia.
- Picture tutorial, instructions on uploading images.
- How to write a great article, to make it an featured article status.
- Manual of Style, how articles should be written.
Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :
Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! =)

- Please read the copyright violation notice on the Lubin School of Business page. Understand the copyright violation notice on the Lubin School of Business page. Follow the directions. Hint: Copying? Not on. To quote:
-
- This page is now listed on Wikipedia:Copyright problems. Please do not edit this page for the time being.
-
- If you plan to write a new article, please follow this link to a temporary subpage. Note that simply modifying copyrighted text is not sufficient to avoid copyright violation — it is best to write the article from scratch
-
- An administrator will move your new article into place once the copyright status of the original has been resolved.
I took out the copyrighted information. What I left there was information that was already there from another user that is not copyrighed, can you please not take it out this time. thanks.
- No, ALL versions I checked -- ALL of them -- are copyright violations. Whatever incidental information was added, these copyright violations are unacceptable. Once again, as it says on the "Possible Copyright Violation", "Please do not edit this page for the time being", and "If you plan to write a new article, please follow this link to a temporary subpage. Note that simply modifying copyrighted text is not sufficient to avoid copyright violation — it is best to write the article from scratch.
The directions are there for a reason. Please follow them. --Calton | Talk 01:50, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Repeated copyright violations and failure to follow directions
Friend, I went through each version of the Lubin School of Business page, one at a time. ALL of them were copyright violations, period/full-stop. If you want to argue, the place to do so is at Wikipedia:Copyright problems, where the page -- and your other cut-and-pastes -- are listed.
So let's try again.
1) What part of
-
- Please do not edit this page for the time being.
-
- did you miss?
2) Which part of
-
- If you plan to write a new article, please follow this link to a temporary subpage (or this or this).
- was unclear?
3) What part of
-
- An administrator will move your new article into place once the copyright status of the original has been resolved.
- escaped you?
Also, as the bottom of the notice say:
- Posting copyrighted material without the express permission of the copyright holder is a violation of applicable law and of our policy. Those who repeatedly post copyrighted material may be blocked from further editing. However, even if this is in fact an infringement of copyright, we will still welcome any original contributions from you.
Cutting and pasting material and passing it off as your own is legally a violation of copyright law and morally an act of plagiarism. Don't do it in the future, and follow basic policy about how we deal with it. --Calton | Talk 02:44, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:1MartineAvenue.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:1MartineAvenue.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rossrs 21:57, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
You're right, will do. JRodz15 22:32, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of events held at the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article List of events held at the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. – flamurai (t) 17:22, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
