[edit] Deletion of Helmi Technologies

Hi, I deleted the article because it was a repost of previous deleted material (it was deleted a few days ago for not meeting Wikipedia's notability criteria). Please take a look at our notability guidelines for companies and corporations at Wikipedia:Notability (companies and corporations). Also, please note that the rationale that "there are other articles on other companies on Wikipedia" rarely works - if you feel that they too do not meet the required criteria, please put them up for deletion. If you still feel that the article is worthy of inclusion on Wikipedia, please say so, and I will restore the article and put it up for discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Cheers, Tangotango 09:19, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

I do feel that the article meets the notability criterias. The company has been around since 2004, there has been several printed and non printed articles in independetn and well established, respected news sources, magazines etc. about the company including some full page articles during the last few years (both due pressreleases and due personal interviews of the company officials) both in US and Finland. Additionally Helmi as a company is referede by several independent analysts including Rober Francis Group, 451 Group and few others in their analysts reports. Obiously most of the information, in terms of source, in the article is from the company itself, but atleast the article tries to be objective there. I would appreciate any quidelines of making the information as objective and independent as possible.

I have restored the article and put it up for deletion via AFD. Please join in the discussion here. Make sure you put "~~~~" after your comments to sign them. Cheers, Tangotango 10:29, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Eclipse Foundation

HI again can you add Helmi Technologies to the correct lists in this article. Gnangarra 09:37, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

We should actually add whole new category of members under eclipse foundation. Helmi is a plug-in provider, not a strategic member. Current page doesn't include plugin providers or other type of partners. Additionally eclipse foundation wikipedia page is lacking quite a bit other information about as wel. the joy wikipedia if you think we should then we do. Gnangarra 23:39, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Helmi logo new w166.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Helmi logo new w166.png. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 19:22, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
