The discovery of the J/Psi by Burton Richter

Public domain This work is in the public domain in the United States because it is a work of the United States Federal Government under the terms of 17 U.S.C. § 105. See Copyright.

Note: This only applies to works of the Federal Government and not to the work of any individual US state, territory, commonwealth, county, subdivision, or municipality.

I hope that it is correct to assume US Government PD status for this image. After all, it shows a measurement result of an experiment done with US Federal money. If not, it's clearly Fair Use, as it is invariantly shown whenether a textbook explains how the J/Psi got its name.

I have found out that belongs to SLAC Photo
