[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Prgraj.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Prgraj.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] License tagging for Image:Prgraj1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Prgraj1.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Your edits to India
Hi Joynjoy, I have reverted your edits to India for the following reason: India is a featured article and hence must follow some rigorous rules for editing. While your edits seem to be with good intention, they have made the article much lengthier. Maybe you should consider editing the main articles in that segment instead. Please let me know if anything is unclear -- Lost 13:31, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copyvios
Hi! Wikipedia accepts only images with certain licences. In short an image should be licenced to allow commercial and derivative useage. Image:allsaintscathedral.jpg has been taken from the UP tourism site. Please do not do this. All images found online are by default copyrighted and do not allow derivatives/commercial use. I've deleted the image. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 05:09, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- Wikipedia as an encyclopedia aims to be a repository of free content. Free as in freedom of price, and freedom to make derivatives. By derivatives, we mean that a user can use the images for modification purposes without contacting the owner. By commercial we mean that a user can sell the images, or use the images in a commercial work without paying the author. Sites on the internet are copyrighted by default.
- It was just meant to add the informativity of article and nothing else: Yes, but was the image created by you? If not, we can't upload the files for such purposes as the copyright owner can sue us for copyright infringement.
- Please read the following policies: Wikipedia:Copyrights, Wikipedia:Image copyright tags before uploading images.

[edit] Regarding Content box
Hi Joynjoy, I didnt understand your question on my talk page. Do you want to create a new template for some specific page or do you want to put the above template on other pages? -- Lost 05:27, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- In case your query is specifically about tables, this page guides in detail: Help:Table -- Lost 05:30, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
OK, I get your question now. That content box is automatically generated as you create headings and subheadings. Can you tell me which article you are referring to. I will try to see what's wrong there. -- Lost 05:58, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
I have found the problem. Actually, Geography of Uttar Pradesh had only three headings till now. The table of contents appears for articles with more than three headings. I just added a heading and its showing now. -- Lost 06:54, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi again, the reason I had put a wikify tag on top of the article is that the article currently is almost totally without any wikilinks. This would help other editors to reach this page and help in editing and making the article better. As always, please let me know in case of any doubts. -- Lost 07:12, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, nice job with the wikification of Geography of Uttar Pradesh. Please do let me know if I can be of further help -- Lost 08:47, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, regarding the above: I've just spent some time rigorously 'dewikifying' Geography of Uttar Pradesh. There's no need to add wikilinks to every single word - like you did with the Animal Life section! :) I've taken all the unnecessary links out, and just kept the ones that are relevant to India (eg changed tiger, elephant and rhinoceros to Bengal tiger, Asian Elephant and Indian rhinoceros, etc). I've also fixed the lists, which were a little messy, cut down the intro, and cleared up some very minor grammatical issues. But all in all, fantastic work on starting the article, and fleshing it out so much. It's not easy to start articles from scratch, and that's quite a large topic to contend with! I added a Geography section in the main Uttar Pradesh article, with a link to your article.

- By the way, as a tip for the future, you can break paragraphs by pressing the Enter (or Return) button twice, instead of adding the <br> tag. Just another way Wikipedia makes things easier for us editors :) It's also a lot less confusing. I spent some time removing some of the tags where the paragraph spacing was a little off. Also, try to avoid using phrases like 'famed Corbett National Park' - I'm sure many, many people outside India have never heard of it. :p
-
- My final note: you don't need to keep making redirect pages. I noticed you've made pages like The Gangetic Plain, etc. Instead, just use: The Gangetic Plain.
-
- Well, that's all I have to say. So, happy editing! — riana_dzasta • t • c 14:06, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
