Joyce Anelay, Baroness Anelay of St Johns

Joyce Anne Anelay, Baroness Anelay of St Johns DBE, FRSA is a Conservative member of the House of Lords.

She was born Joyce Anne Clarke on 17 July 1947 and was educated in Enfield County School, later at Bristol University, Gloucestershire.

She was a secondary school teacher from 1969 to 1974.

She was knighted in 1995, and made a life peer as Baroness Anelay of St Johns, of St Johns in the County of Surrey in 1996.
