Joy Giovanni is a independent film actress based of out California and has appeared in several notable television shows and independent movies. She has also been a model since 2001. She competed in the 2004 and 2005 Lingerie Bowl events.

Giovanni gained a job in WWE after finishing third during the $250,000 RAW Diva Search. Her entrance theme was a WWE Production, called Only "Love Can Do It". Joy Giovanni debuted on SmackDown! as Smackdown's "Massage Therapist." Many of her on-screen appearances in the company were with WWE wrestler Big Show, becoming part of his feud with JBL. She was also written into a heated feud with former SmackDown! diva Amy Weber, JBL's image consultant in 2004. This feud included a storyline where she was kidnapped and discovered bound and gagged in JBL's limo trunk, as well as a backstage catfight between Amy and herself. She also competed in the WWE 2005 Rookie Diva of the year contest at WWE No Way Out 2005 which Giovanni won with 64% of the vote. After this, she would occasionally appear on Smackdown! during backstage segments with other Divas or doing Bikini or Lingerie contests (majority of them were won by then Smackdown! Diva, now RAW Diva, Torrie Wilson). She was released by WWE on July 6, 2005.
