Yeah... this is me at work. Ugly? Well, you're no Brad Pitt either :P

Greetings to all Wikipedians. My name is Orane (pronounced Ō-rain), but you can call me 'O'. I was born on Saturday, August 22, 1987 in the most beautiful country on Earth, Jamaica. I emigrated to Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada on December 11, 2004 to live with my dad and my older brother; I was living with my mom in Portland, Jamaica. Canada was my first experience with different weather and let me tell you, winter was a bitch!

My work on Wikipedia

Picture of the day
Saffron

A pile of saffron threads (each about 20 mm in length) from Iran. Saffron is a spice derived from the flower of the saffron crocus and is among the world's costliest spices by weight. In Western countries, the average retail price is $2200/€1550/£1100 per kilogram ($1,000/€700/£500 per pound). Besides its use as a seasoning, it has also used in its history as fragrance, dye, and medicine.
