Talk:Journalism in Australia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
G'day everyone. I just created this page. Australian journalism has a distinct and interesting history and differs a lot from US and international journalism. Please feel free to suggest what you would like to see here. So far I am thinking along these lines:
- History
- Legal Protection (maybe mention the recent FOIA deal with Costello and the guy from (I think) The Australian.
- Training (universities and the like)
- Figures (maybe a list of important people in the industry)
- Major stories (this would be nice to see. maybe a list of important international stories broken by Aussies that do not necessarily relate to Australia)
Please feel free to contribute. Cheers. DarkSideOfTheSpoon 03:30, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Ratings"
Whoever plans on reviewing the page for the Australian wiki project please not there is still alot of content to be added. Maybe wait a few months until December at least? I should have the rest of what I want done by then. Also, is there such a thing as too many references? That is a serious question, also... DarkSideOfTheSpoon 11:08, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
