The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery is a peer reviewed medical journal in the field of orthopedic surgery. First published in 1887 (as Transactions of the American Orthopedic Association), it acquired its current title in 1922. In 1948 it split into the "A" (American) and "B" (British) volumes.
