[edit] Ilaiyaraja
Jotishkumart, thank you for your photograph for the Ilaiyaraja page. Unfortunately, however, this photograph does not contain sufficient copyright information in its copyright tag. Therefore, Wikipedia may automatically remove it in the coming weeks. Could you do something about this please? Cheers. Splashprince 11:50, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi, Splashprince.
I know that, But I am reaching that article as early as possible. which place you belong to ? I would like to know your help to edit and create more articles.

[edit] Yesudas
Hi Jothish, thanks for the edits to this article. Instead of making seperate edits for very minor changes, can you please try to include more changes in a single edit. Nandhi, Tintin (talk) 11:14, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Music categories
I added category tags to Carnatic music and Hindustani classical music so that they'll both show up in Category:Music genres and Category:Indian styles of music. There may be other appropriate categories as well; if you drill down through some of those categories and see others that you think would fit those articles, by all means add the category tags to the bottom of the page. It doesn't make sense to list them in the See Also section of Music, as there are hundreds of music articles; to be fair, you'd have to list them all there, which is obviously not an elegant solution. Cheers, OhNoitsJamieTalk 06:55, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Ilayaraja.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ilayaraja.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:05, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright status of Kanaka.jpg
Hello Jothiskumart. Can you please add proper licensing information to Image:Kanaka.jpg? The image is slated to be deleted in six or seven days because it does not state if this a free image or who the actual copyright holder is. If you need any help with this please let me know. Thanks, Can't sleep, clown will eat me 17:30, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, I have no Copyright status. that image was not uploaded by me. you can proceed. rgds jyothish 17:46, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Additional image concerns
The following images also appear to be incorrectly tagged: Image:Jyothish.jpg (PD-self), Image:Yesudas.jpg (GFDL), Image:Gandharva.jpg (PD-self), Image:Yesudasfamily.jpg (PD-self), Image:Ilayaraja.jpg (untagged), Image:Pradeepss.jpg (GFDL), Image:MaestroIlayaRaja.jpg (GFDL), Image:AthirappillyWaterFall.jpg (GFDL). These images should not be tagged with {{PD-self}} or other free license templates unless you are the original photographer or copyright holder. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 17:55, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- All above images are by me. so what i have to do ? can you help me ? jyothish 18:08, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
-
- My concern is that these are simply photomanipulated images. Were you the original photographer for all these images? Can't sleep, clown will eat me 18:18, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
I am graphic designer. I done lot works for create my own images. jyothish 18:39, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure you understand. Did you actually take the image yourself? Usually, when someone is the photographer, they have the image in a significantly higher resolution than you are providing. If you have simply modified an image you found online, you are not authorized to release it into the public domain. The pd-self tag implies that you were the actual photographer. alphaChimp laudare 01:58, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
So which tag i have to user for graphial edited images ? rgds jyothish 03:12, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- If the original image was not public domain, and you did not take them (or do not want to release them to public domain), you can't post them. Sorry. alphaChimp laudare 03:20, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
The Origunal images i got from searching google images ? so any prob ?jyothish 03:24, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- You don't need to post on my page. I watch this page. Yeah, sadly stuff that you find on Google images is most likely copywritten and you can't post it. If you go to www.newyorktimes.com and post one of those pictures to Wikipedia (even if you edit it), it is still copywritten and their work. alphaChimp laudare 03:26, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
So what you mean by public domains ? can u help me ? in this case ? jyothish 03:31, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- Public domain is a term refering to content over which nobody owns a copyright, or the creator specifically renounces their rights. Content uploaded to Wikipedia is always released under GFDL (see the link at the bottom of the edit window). I hope that helps. alphaChimp laudare 03:41, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
One question also , Can I edit imges from the Album cover. that means i would like to get perticular image from the album cover. and can i add it to wwiki pedia ? rgds jyothish 03:50, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

Good work with the article. It would be nice if we could get a photo to add to it. I've added a filmograpy section.-- thunderboltz(Deepu) 12:11, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Raju Narayana Swamy
Your newly created article on Raju Narayana Swamy is interesting. He was my classmate in tuition class while he was studying for Pre-degree in S.B.College ,Changanassery. I was in Assumption college. His Father Ayyar sir was my Math teacher. It was really a thrilling experience to have an acquintance with such a brilliant student. Nileena joseph 15:48, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply. You know better than others about Raju Narayana Swamy. Please modify that article very well. I know that it was not acceptable for others. So Please edit as an STD article . An article about Raju Narayana Swamy should need a Std like him. He was District collector at Thrissur when I was studying my Degree at St. Thomas College, Thrissur, at that time his father was a guest lecturer in that college (2000-2001). He tried to make width to all roads in Thrissur city. But result was his transfer to any other place!. jyothish 18:44, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
Dear Venu,
Please try to modify that article instead of deletion, with your knowledge of him. Rgds jyothish 04:42, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] KJ Yesudas albums and concerts
Hi Jyotish,
I am surprised you have reported about my actions of nominating the above articles for deletion at User_talk:Bharatveer, User_talk:Hrisforu, User_talk:Gluewhale, User_talk:Pluto.2006, Talk:Concerts_by_Dr._K._J._Yesudas and Talk:Albums_by_Dr._K._J._Yesudas. But you have never thought of asking me or getting my clarification. That you went about on a "complaining spree" instead of writing a word to me so far, shows that you dont assume good faith in me. I see it as a personal attack on me since you went about complaining not at one place, but at several places at once, perhaps to invite unwarranted criticism on me. Since you said you did not know why I tagged deletion tag for the articles, you should have clarified me before complaining at all the above places.
I dont think it is proper to start separate pages on all aspects of Yesudas like Concerts, Albums, biography, tours, likes and dislikes, his views on music etc. Do we start similar separate articles for all famous singers? I dont think its a good idea.
If you want, you can include all relevant information in the Yesudas page, instead of creating separate pages for each and every thing. I hope you will see the sense in what I am telling.
User_talk:Pluto.2006 has now gone on a rampage taking the cue from you attaking me personally and using bad language at Talk:Albums_by_Dr._K._J._Yesudas, User_talk:Venu62/Archive3#Mr__User:srkris_worst_works, Talk:Concerts_by_Dr._K._J._Yesudas, User_talk:Bharatveer#some_worst_works_by_User:srkris, Talk:Carnatic_music#please_delete_the_user_User:srkris_from_wikipedia, User_talk:Srkris#I_pity_you, User_talk:Pluto.2006#Neutrality_prob, User_talk:Pluto.2006#Please_mind_your_language. I think your complaining spree has incited his bad behaviour. Please remove your complaints in the places you have complained (except in the article talk pages) and explain the thing to User_talk:Pluto.2006 and ask him to remove his personal attacks as well in all the places. Thanks.-- ॐ Kris ( talk | contribs) 08:24, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
