[edit] IPA2: an Article for Deletion
Hi, Joshua! I just logged in and noticed that my article is tagged as AfD. I read the comments and I think it is tagged for personal reasons of the AfD initiator. Would you pls leave your comment? As the author, I do not see myself the right person to give comments. I really appreciate your opinion, regardless of what you decide. Thanx! -DrMoslehi 00:05, 17 September 2006 (UTC+3:30)

[edit] Same-sex marriage links
Hi Joshua4. I noticed that you've been adding a lot of "see also" links to articles related to same-sex marriage. I have a suggestion: would you consider adding to a preexisting infobox template or creating a new template for these links? Several infoboxes already exist in some of the articles you have edited. Here are a couple examples: {{SSM}} and {{Same-sex marriage in the United States}}. Infoboxes tend to be more aesthetic ways to present a large number of links than "see also" sections, wouldn't you agree? Anyway, perhaps the preexisting infoboxes should be expanded to include more of the links you are adding. Or, if you prefer, you could create a new infobox of your own and add it to the relevant articles. Thanks for your contributions. · j e r s y k o talk · 14:37, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Same-sex marriage in the United States by state
I noticed you moved Same-sex marriage legislation in the United States by state to Same-sex marriage in the United States by state without indicating anything on either talk page. Were there any specific reasons? --Joshua4 03:47, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Joshua; I actually was just reverting an improper cut-and-paste move which lost the article history, I don't really have an opinion on the title. If you prefer it at Same-sex marriage legislation in the United States by state you could start a requested move. —Mets501 (talk) 02:49, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Herpes
Hi,
I removed several of the links you placed on the Herpes Simplex page, the ones to http://www.Herpes-Coldsores.com. The pages did not meet the standards for WP:RS in my mind - there were almost no references that I could find, basically the equivalent of the person who created the page saying 'oh, I heard it once'. I did leave in the information about "80-90% of Americans have HSV-1 antibodies by the time they are over age 50" as it did have a source, but I corrected it to the actual publication by the American Social Health Association.
Though the herpes-coldsores.com page might have useful information and links for individuals with herpes, it should not be used to add information to the wikipedia page of a scientific nature - that is best sourced to peer-reviewed publications rather than unsourced webpages. Even the ASHA publication is tenuous - there is a lack of sources there as well, and I could not attribute authorship of the article to an actual person. In addition, in my opinion there is a strong flavour of self-promotion in the article. That being said, I think it's adequate for now.
Also, if the information you are putting on the herpes page can be found on the h-cs.com website, be sure to source the specific sub-page, not just the site's homepage.
Thanks,
