[edit] ACADEMICPAINTING.com
Check out InstantChess.com, for example. It has a brief description of what the site is about, and that's it. In ACADEMICPAINTING.com, most of the article is in a section called "History of academic art", which has little to do with the web site itself, and is comprised mostly of "original research", which is not allowed here (see WP:NOR). [edit] Adminship
The process for becoming an admin is outlined at Wikipedia:Requests for Adminship. As the guidelines there state, however, you will need more experience with our policies first. Please keep editing subjects that interest you, read the many guidelines linked through the Wikipedia:Community portal, listen to suggestions like those given above, and allow us to get to know you before nominating yourself for adminship -- if you do well, someone else will nominate you, which is even better. Good luck and happy editing! — Catherine\talk 16:20, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright
Hi there! I noticed that you have been editing the page ACADEMICPAINTING.com. I need to verify that you are indeed the owner of that text, as any Wikipedian can create an account and claim to be the owner of that text. It is a simple process actually. Take a look at this page where a similar request was processed. If you can send me an e-mail from the academicpainting.com domain stating that you agree to allow the text to be submitted in accordance to the GFDL and you allow the text to be freely edited and distributed, that would be more than suffice. Please provide some contact information as well. Thank you! --HappyCamper 01:46, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] ?
What is the domain stating?
- Basically, send me an e-mail with something that ends with "academicpainting.com" so I know you're the owner :-) --HappyCamper 02:01, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
whats your e-mail?
- If you go to my userpage, there's a "e-mail this user" link. Every Wikipedian has one. A brief message will do. Or, you can click on this link here: Special:Emailuser/HappyCamper. --HappyCamper 02:04, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed deletion
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Aaron Escobar, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Aaron Escobar. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
