[edit] Welcome!

Hi there! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions. I hope you like it here and stick around. If you want, you can drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself.

A few tips before you start doing a lot of editing:

  • When you post something on a talk/discussion page, you can sign your name by using three tildes (" ~~~ ") for your username and four (" ~~~~ ") for your username and a timestamp.
  • If you ever find yourself with nothing to do on Wikipedia, have a look at the Community Portal, you'll find that there's always something happening.

If you have any questions, comments, or just want to say hi, don't hesitate to write to me on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Happy editing and have a great day! :-) Akamad 11:36, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Smash Bros. Online

Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Smash Bros. Online may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. -- Longhair 11:57, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

Regarding Smash Bros. Online,

Web specific-content3 is notable if it meets any one of the following criteria:

  1. The content itself has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself.
    • This criterion excludes:
      • Media re-prints of press releases and advertising for the content or site. 4
      • Trivial coverage, such as newspaper articles that simply report the internet address, the times at which such content is updated or made available, a brief summary of the nature of the content or the publication of internet addresses and site or content descriptions in internet directories or online stores.
    • This criterion includes reliable published works in all forms, such as newspaper and magazine articles, books, television documentaries, and published reports by consumer watchdog organizations. 5
  2. The website or content has won a well known and independent award, either from a publication or organisation. 6
  3. The content is distributed via a site which is both well known and independent of the creators, either through an online newspaper or magazine, an online publisher, or an online broadcaster. -- Longhair 12:19, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] THE JoshCube?

The fanfiction writer mentioned on YTMND? -125.236.44.42 02:05, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

If this was really him then wow, I couldn't believe it either, but if it's not, then an imposter instead who could've just used his name and be known as a different person rather than the one you mentioned above. That being said, it may indeed be the legend that we know about. 24.188.203.181 22:38, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Yes, the creator of ssb online and joshcube are the same. -lopolo42
